This casebook was required for my "Children & The Law" course. It is poorly organized. To illustrate, early in the casebook the authors discuss many of the legal disabilities placed on children born to unwed parents.

However, it picks up that same discussion later in the text when it discusses adoption/5(5). This Nutshell follows the structure and format of the authors' casebook―Children and the Law: Doctrine, Policy and Practice.
